I made it. I am in the hotel lobby since I don't have internet access. I think it's a good thing that I can really just enjoy being here. First, I had the best flight over here. I am now a fan of AIR NEW ZEALAND. I watched two movies- Warm Bodies and Parental Guidance and slept for 5 hours of the 12.5 hr flight from San Francisco.
The country is BEAUTIFUL. The hotel is amazing!!!! Jodi and Michele have went above and beyond. The event is full of beautiful women. They have about 40 Australian girls here as well. It is such a well organzied event.
I taught all day yesterday after arriving at 6am. Yes, major jet lag going on. Heidi told me that around 6 pm last night I would be hating life. She was right. I was not even able to "think" around 9 pm. They did a skit night and Maggie played ELLEN and her special guests were Donna Downey, Heidi Swapp and I. It was so funny. However, I was not quite all there being so tired. They played games like on the show and several girls won BIG prizes from TC Stampmaker, Craftwell and XYRON- (tc mega runners, stickmakers). WOW, I am blessed to have so much support with the companies that I design and work with. I really APPRECIATE THIS!!!
Today I am up way early- I could not sleep!!! I am teaching three workshops and we have a special dinner tonight with girls who "WON" dinner with the international teachers. I am pretty excited about this.
Okay... I miss my family. Gentry is on here honeymoon. My husband tells me that the family is great and fine. I am so enjoying my sweet McKay. She loves it here! The women are wanting photos with her and giving her sweets and cards. We feel so welcome!!!!
