I have had a very busy past couple of days. I am happy to say that our visits to the orthodontist are now almost over. Yes, all of our kids (except Matt) have had braces. It was a good day to have Ty's taken off. I admit, I have been known to miss some (many) appointments over the last 9 years of appointments with each of the kids. I really appreciate that they decided to start texting the patients with reminder calls.
I am working on gets my upcoming workshop kits and products sorted for Taylor to kit, designing new collections, and working on wedding stuff. Oh, and trying to get receipts/taxes for 2012 sorted and ready for the accountant.
I like being creative so much more.
Yes, I am really enjoying Stationary noted and how it is perfect for "love" projects for Gentry and Devan. I'm crazy in love with Gentry's vision of her wedding. She is so creative and way more stylish then I ever was at her age.
PS...I am a "little"- actually a lot in love with instagram.
I was a little nervous all day yesterday as Zach started his "new" old jr. high. He recieved a very warm welcome by his new teachers and friends. He even has gym class with Ty. They are one grade apart/ 14 months in age. I loved that they can share this experience.
I picked the boys up from school and they were surrounded by friends. They came home and Zach had to rush with his dad to get to a baseball showcase at the academy. He was smiling, happy and I was so grateful. What a great day!!!!
After he was done with the showcase, he looked at his phone. It was about 7pm and he had 20 messages on Snap Chat. They all came at once from some of his "friends" from the school he left. They all were telling him that he was "an idiot." Oh my...
Zach came home and told me about it. I was unsure what to say. I thought for a moment and didn't quite know what to tell him. I was shocked! Finally, I told him I loved him and not to allow them to upset him. Anyone who deliberately would want to hurt someone is someone you are better off not being around. He is such a peace maker and so he decided not to engage them by responding. What would you have done?
