On a personal note- I am super excited that this week Zach will be playing in PROSPECT GAMES here in Utah. They invite prospective boys to try out to go and play on the teams that travel to various scouting places. If he is selected, we will be going to NC at the end of August. Even if he doesn't make the team, I am so excited for him and that he gets to play games this week on the BYU baseball field and other locations. So I worked hard all weekend on upcoming deadlines... so I am 100% on vacation come this Thursday. Our family will go to all of his games and CHEER him on. I told Bill & Donna Downey if we go to NC that I will try to teach a workshop at their new store/workshop. I hope it works out and I hope that I can see my sister TONS during the trip too. Fingers crossed!!!!!
I am REALLY missing McKay. She will be home from BYU on August 10th. Oh, not that I am counting. ha! She will be home for TEN days before she heads back to school for the FALL semester. I have to say THANK GOODNESS for FACEBOOK. She has been quite social making some awesome new friends-
I laugh that she was so worried that she did not know anyone prior to going to college this Summer!
She has made lots of new friends and they seem to all like to do "silly things" like go to the LLAMA FEST! I am so happy that she has had the best experience AND she is doing really great with her studies and grades.
I am not sure where they all got matching TIGER shirts but they seem to have a lot of good times! Like I said...facebook is good for Mom's right? I watch her posts so I can see what she is doing.
As for Gentry... hmmm... well, she has been quite busy this Summer too. She has been dating the SWEETEST boy ever- Devan. She will kill me if she reads my blog today. Well, that's okay...because I am only documenting this time for our family. ha!
I don't see her as much as I used too. She spents most of her time at her job or with her boyfriend. I absolutely LOVE to see these two together. Who knows where it will lead... but they have been dating since March.
Matt, Kayla and the kids are still in S. California. His Summer job is doing very well and we are missing them tons! Kayla is a great mom and I love that she posts photos almost daily on facebook too.
Matt works very long hours and Kayla is so good with the kids. Isn't AZALEA getting so big?
She is such a big girl. SO big and healthy. I can't wait to see them again!!!
Oh and Maxson is just a SWEET big brother! He loves her.
It is so hard to see your kids grow up and leave the house...establish their independency. I am still struggling a bit... letting them go. I admit, I call my kids probably TOO MUCH. So weird to just have the boys left at home now after the Summer. Who would have thought TWO KIDS would be so quiet?
