I am enjoying have a home full of family this time of year. Gentry is home from school and she is helping me prepare for Christmas. We are tackling the mall today. This is the first time since my sciatica started that I am venturing out for a long stretch of walking. I have not been working out at all- only stretching!!!!! I wish this crazy numbness would go away. I'm trying to think positive and take it a day at a time.
Tomorrow, I have a BIG BLOG post to tell you something that has changed in my life and has changed so many things in my world. It's personal and well...I have a feeling many of you might benefit from what I have been doing in my life.
Friday night, I was cheering on the drill team at the basketball game. They perform at half time.
Mckay and her besties... she has lots of friends.
They had a little Christmas Party and exchanged gifts after the ball game.
I love being a mother and watching these girls. I have been very busy this year with coordinating, helping and planings all the things that my role requires of me. McKay is the Head Captain of the team. I am impressed with how she is a team leader and helps this year to be drama free. I love watching her in this role.
Yesterday, my son Ty turned the big 13 years old! We had the entire family over after church. It was such a GREAT day. Our family is silly and we can laugh at and with each other. Happy Birthday Tyler!!!!
I love that Tyler made the cake for Ty's birthday. It was his favorite chocolate with vanilla icing. I am lucky that Tyler is the type of dad and husband that does everything to help me and our family. Yes, he does laundry and cooks. It seems we are always multi-tasking to get things done.
Ty said the new Bop It was his favorite gift. The entire family played it to see who could reach the highest score. Matt is the leader!
Maxson was moving and dancing to the toy too. He is just a easy going fun little boy.
This is Matt. He is now a new daddy again. Azalea is TWO WEEKS old yesterday. This blanket was given to us from a very generous blog reader. THANK YOU! She made it for Azalea. Kayla picked out the colors and it is one of those SUPER soft blankets.
Seth is always working and it's always nice when he can find the time to come over to the house. He is 17 years old too and graduates this year.
I love this photo. We are all watched Maxson- crowded on two sofas as a family- being together- MY FAVORITE times!!!!!!!!
Oh yes, McKay did not want her photo taken. I always say to mother's..." MAKE SURE YOU ARE IN THE PHOTOS TOO- YOU ARE PART OF THE STORY!!!!" I took this one myself.
Tyler and Grandma Collins. I think it's so important to have my children take photos (alone) with their grandparents. PRICELESS MEMORIES....
This beauty is two weeks old now. If you would like to have a personalized luxury Minkee baby blanket you can order them from Valery Klassen at www.sun7designs.shawwebspace.ca
This was just last week- when she was ONE week old. They change so FAST!
