This morning, McKay and I got up and enjoyed a hike up the beautiful mountains together. It was amazingly beautiful and the hills were a good day to keep moving. These times are the most wonderful times to really "talk" and connect with my teenage daughter. Our private talks always make me realize how important this "time" really is. One on one time with my kids (since we have alot of kids) is vital.
We are having a great family weekend. We are getting ready to go play two ballgames today. We are in a Memorial Day Baseball tournament. This is the first one with our "new team." Due to the heavy rain we have had in Utah...we have only played 7 games together this season. We are playing CA and AZ teams today. This will be tough competition! CA and AZ teams are always great teams and competition for our Utah boys.
