BL1926 Carol’s Clocks 1.25” clock
Instructions:
Preparing your page components:
1. Cut the following pieces from your papers:
- Core Amour Guitar 7.75” X 8.25”
- Core Amour Dots 3.25” X 8.25”
- Black Guitars 1.5” X 8.25” and .5” X 8.25” (you are not using the guitar today)
- Distressed Dots .75” X 7”
- Transparency .75” X 11”
- Sand your Core Amour Guitar paper so that the stars become visible.
- Add white ink over the top of your swirls on the Core Amour Dots paper.
- Assembling your page:
- Start with the Tags Paper as your base (Use the Stars side)
- Layer all your 8.25” long papers so the edges line up. Start with the black Guitars paper, then the Core Guitar. Tuck the small strip of black Guitars under the Core Guitar. End the block with the Core Dots.
- Adhere the Distress Dots graph paper about 5.6” from the top of the photo block. Place it horizontally across your paper.
- Place the transparency directly underneath that graph paper, running horizontally across the page.
- Layer your first picture, placing the black swirled die-cut underneath to add pop. I added the large white crest circle from the die-cuts under my second photo and placed the gray die cut under that.
- Add the Blingage clock and brads from both the Sports Edition II and the On the Edge packets. Finish it with the word punch outs from the Die Cut sheets.
Tip: Layer die-cuts for interest and dimension. I love repeated elements on a page and the circles from the die-cut sheet were perfect! I continued that circle theme with the smaller metal elements including the brads and Blingage clock. Don’t be afraid to turn your die-cuts into journaling cards by adding lines.
