This weekend... Ty was our ROCK STAR for the night.
He had his guitar recital Friday night at the University of Utah.
This was his FIFTH time performing and it's been so GREAT to watch him grow in his skills over the years. He likes to play old rock... Boston, Rush, Van Halen, etc. He listened to this with his dad and likes to listen and perform to it.
Well, I had a houseful of family right before the recital. Matt, Kayla and Maxson had came to visit us. Poor Maxson has pinkeye!!!! Then Grandma Collins and Taylor and Spencer came to visit. Oh, and then we had to RUSH out the house to get to the recital on time.

The auditorium is DARK and so this is the BEST I could do!
Guess what? I'm just THANKFUL I have a cell phone that could take photos!!!!
It's just how I roll. Look at the good- focus on it... and go on.

Okay, we loved watching our little ROCKSTAR for the night.
He was so animated and quite the performer. We had a great night together as a family.
I have church in a couple of hours- making CROWNS for the kids to remind them that they are indeed of ROYAL birth...child of God. I made little necklaces too. I love teaching them- and Sundays are always the BEST family days.
