Yesterday, she turned 18!!!!
She asked me if she could make HER own cake-
This is ALL Gentry's creation. She is way more artistic than me. She is my daughter who likes to make her clothes, draws nonstop and challenges herself constantly in all things creative. She made her cake from scratch.
I checked her out of school to take her to lunch. Then I asked her if she wanted to do some photos at the Park to remember her 18th birthday. She thought it was a great idea- and we spent about 15 minutes and took 59 photos. She only likes a few of them. It was BRIGHT & SUNNY so not the best time of day, but here is her birthday photos-
I wish I could wear gray..but it washes me out. She has olive skin like her father!
She is my only child that DOES NOT have blue eyes. She loves being different!
She has had to have braces on TWICE now and has never complained once- (in two weeks she is having oral surgery..)
I love my family tradition of the photo's taken on their birthday's. I know SOMEDAY they will too!!! Even if I'm not the BEST photographer... I so enjoy this part of their special day.
We had Ty's baseball game after wards- and thankfully Ty did well. He had a bad game the other night and struck out twice. His confidence was LOW and he honestly, did not want to play. I think baseball is so mental! Anyway, I held my breathe each time he got up to bat.
Gentry choose her family birthday dinner at Sweet Tomatoes- so WW friendly!!!!! It was a fabulous and special day....
OKAY, so excited for the TC/PaperLIFE EVENT. I want to THANK the PAPERLIFE and AMY COON for doing this event with me. Oh my... this is going to be over the top. I mean, AMY is the ultimate PARTY planner and well, CUPCAKES will be involved! Need I say more???? Sign ups are flying and I could not be happier to do this event. The project is so OVER THE TOP...and I can't wait til you see it!
HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!!!!
