This morning Gentry and McKay were late for school. They had to uncover the car from POST IT NOTES...
I quickly ran to get my camera. As you can see they were about 1/2 way done here. The car had been 100% covered with these messages.
Each one of these notes were HAND STAMPED... yes, I was impressed. They each said-
I'm STUCK on you
Will you go to Senior
Ball with me?
McKay was helping her sister get the notes off. They were really stuck to the car and it was a little cold this morning. (about 38 degrees)
Gentry raced to school and I spent the next 30 minutes going through the notes. I tried to find the name of the boy to figure out who was asking her to the ball. Well, NO NAME was found. I promised to TEXT (yes, I am slowly learning) her.
Then about an hour ago, Gentry was in class and a LETTER was delivered to her class. She must now go to the HALLMARK store and find her next clue as to who is asking her.
OKAY...now this is the HARD part. Gentry called me between class and she is so sad. She has to say no. She will be with me in France the night of the dance. HELP...what do you do? I know she has to say no, but she feels so bad. She can't believe how much effort he did in asking her. I want to find this young man and give him a big MOTHER's hug. LOVE him for being so cute!!!!
I will keep you posted on how Hallmark goes after school today. Today (after school) begins SPRING BREAK for our kids...they have no school for 10 days. I am SO HAPPY to have them home. I plan to do lots of family stuff. We are staying home and hopefully will enjoy some nice weather.
Tomorrow I will be at the Good Things Utah Channel 4 booth at the Sandy Scrapbook Expo from 5:00-7:00 pm. I am even going to bring this-
The lamp with all the flowers. Come make flowers with me!!!!
