WELCOME HOME....

It's time to start showing you what I have done this past year. This line is well... it's very near and dear to my heart. I started mentally knowing that I wanted to create a HOME and FAMILY line  a year and 1/2 ago during a major home renovation. I took so many before and after photos and well I knew that to me HOME is my place of comfort, a safe HAVEN from the world. I wanted to do a line about my original passion- my background and love is INTERIOR DESIGN and well- I love all things having to do with making "OUR HOUSE A HOME." So introducing....

NOW--- on the FIRST day of CHA

THIS is the Make N Take-

are you ready???

The ENTIRE book- yes, the NEW 7x13 door chipboard cover (this is my front door- all black and so to add meaning I used that design) and the Welcome Home papers, transparencies and RIBBONS. (jewel on front is something I added on mine-not part of the collection).

I have to apologize my BLOG is being wonky and is typing HUGE...and so I apologize.

NOW- I hope to see you at CHA- booth 3413...

TODAY... I am doing a PRIZE...

I did want to mention something about this collection- straight from me. When I did this line, I knew that I wanted to do some type of BOOK. I did prototypes of houses, windows, various styles of doors etc. and wanted something that would work well with the Bind it All or could be assembled with a hole punch. After a while, I thought- a DOOR like my front door- kind of simple- perfect! I designed the line and had sent it over to a friend. She mentioned that HO3 had done a digital door in one of their HO3 kits. Well, honestly- I cried and worried because I worried about Heidi and my HO3 friends.  I was a lunch with Heidi and I told her about the line a few months ago. She was so cool about it- she UNDERSTANDS that we are SO SIMILAR and as designers we are ALL INSPIRED by WHAT is out there- What is hot right now? Chandeliers, Chairs, Quotes... well, I just thought I would say it...I thought about NOT producing the line but I prayed about it and decided that I was going to proceed with the line. So there you have it- I know the door is similar and yes, I love and adore HEIDI and the HO3 girls...
