Well I spent last night, in my scrapbook room going through countless books that I have created over the years. I can hardly believe the difference in my style. I was taken back for a moment- I found WAY to many layouts that lacked to TELL the STORY! I was a beginner and struggled to know HOW and WHAT to say at times. I now look at some of the pictures and just can't remember the details. It helped to remind me to tell the story. Even if it's the basics WHO, WHEN, WHERE!!!!!
I always feel a big urge to purge when I get my new releases in. I have been working on layouts and books for the CHA S booth and for classes.
Today- I am going to show my workshop class for my event in Vegas (September). I am only showing the cover- Do you notice the crystal charm???? YES- they are part of my CHA S release. The are called T-drops!!!!!

I want to thank you for the KIND comments and emails. Ty saw me smiling all night long and mentioned how much I like to hear positive feedback. I thought about it and told him, that I design my lines so far in advance (and I put my heart into it)...so it always feels nice (well, over the top WONDERFUL) when you hear such positive thoughts.
I knew I wanted to design a line that celebrates friends and our friendships. I love the quote-
"Friendship isn't a big thing- it's a million little things." I wanted it to be TIFFANY blue and well, it just came together. I wanted to design a book (I'm teaching it at Ruban Rouge) for McKay. She has a TON of really great and about 4 really close friends. They have been friends since she was 3 years old. So in June, I asked McKay to invite the girls over to house and do a "photo shot" in the backyard. The girls were so cute..." what should I wear?" They decided to each wear blue jeans and each girl wore a different color t-shirt. The photos were adorable and well- I was able to make a book of their friendship.

The best part????? McKay picked up the book when I was done, and she was grinning, and smiling- it made her happy. That is what it's all about! I designed it but the journaling is in her writing and thoughts.
Sorry for such a long post but I HAVE to share some photos with my family. You see my boys and I went boating on Wednesday. My boys tried to water ski for the VERY first time-
Can you believe Zach is UP on the very first time? I actually captured it here. It's hard to take photos from a moving boat!!!!! He was so happy and I was too. I wish I had learned to water ski-
This is Ty. He got up on his second try. Then he does a little muscle man move. He actually LOVED skiing- it's his new FAVE. I got a sunburn because the boys would NOT let us leave the lake. I am so glad that I took my camera.
NEWS- We decided to release my TC product releases before the show and will begin to start shipping to retailers on Monday. Yes, that is on MONDAY. We have heard that CHA S attendance will be low and this way everyone can get it now. So along with posting projects on my blog each day, I'm also going to pick one or two winner a day for the next week. What is the prizes???? A full set of papers to 6 people. I will post on the day what the paper set is-

Tell me. Do you have a best friend and if so- how long have you been friends?
I'll go first- I have always had lots of friends. I have many dear friends but feel like I don't have a ONE best friend. I always wished I have a childhood friend that I kept close to for my entire life, but that did not happen. We moved often until I was in 5th grade. I honestly...yes, this may seem mushy, consider Ty my very best friend. He is the one that I turn too, in good times and bad. I know he always will defend me and be my biggest cheerleader. I love his loyalty to me!!!! Case in point, on Sunday- I was dressing for church and I tried on a skirt. I have gained a little weight and it would not zip up. I'm in the bathroom and having a "emotional" moment, I start crying. He looked at me, and said, "what is wrong with you?" I told him, "I'm crying because I'm too fat and I can't wear my skirt." It's really funny today, but I was feeling emotional on that day. He grabbed me...hugged me really tight and said "I love you just the way you are" and some other very cute things. So for me...he is my ROCK!
