I cannot express what a beautiful place this is. I loved the architecture and the monuments. The detail is breathtaking. The history.... I felt so thankful to be able to see these special and significant places.
oops sorry- i am uploading these unedited. A photo just does not do the tower justice. I could not fathom how LARGE it is in person.
This is the group of talented ladies that I taught with at Version Scrap. I wish you could see their projects because they were amazing. All the teachers were French except Vivian (Australia), Shimelle (UK), and myself. They were all so VERY kind, nice, helpful and wonderful. I felt so bad because I was very sick the entire time. I have never had to teach when I was so ill. I only slept a few hours each night and had a horrible nasty cough.
I met the most creative, kind and endearing woman in France. They were so patient and I LOVED getting to met each of them. I was dealing with the language barrier and my illness, so I so appreciated the kindness and welcome that I was shown.
The classes were full and some were oversold. It was choatic at times trying to deal with more students than spots available. However, my amazing translator saved the day- Emilie~~~~~
She saved the day. I was so "out of it" trying to not cough and such, but she just kept helping me and translating like a pro. She teaches High School English in France and she is one of the nicest girls I have ever met. Thank you Emilie for your help!!!!!!!! I could not have done it without you.
I loved France...and yes, I would LOVE to go back. I loved the event and appreciated being asked to come. I will never forget it!!!!!!! Nope, no pick pocketer can make me not want to return---such a beautiful and amazing country and people....
