I am sorry to say that the INSPIRATION UNLIMITED extra kits are gone. The event is SOLD OUT!!!! We kitted extra kits and tried to accomodate as many people as we could. THANKS for all the support!!!
The event is NEXT WEEKEND. Layle and I are driving down to Vegas with a CAR ---FULL---literally full of boxes. Taylor will be flying in from Portland to help at the event. Janna and Sarah (her cute daughter) will fly in too. Can you tell I am excited?
So today, going to go buy window rods...and look for some artwork for the front room. I am loving getting to "redecorate" again.
Went to the gym yesterday- the first time in FOREVER and I am so sore. I only walked for 60 minutes with Bek. It went fast since we talked the entire time. Thankful for this time to focus on our friendship....
Have a great Friday!!!!

edited- we only have a few kits from the event available if you are interested- please email [email protected] . Due to the interest- the kits will be offered to those who email first. The kits are all the kits, workshops, make n takes, etc. from the event for $199. If we did a stamp in class, etc. we will PRESTAMP them for you. I do color copies and instructions for my classes too. The kits will ship right after the event. Again, don't hesistate, because the kits are going FAST!!!*** if you commented on my blog, please email me.
Just got home from a afternoon/evening of baseball. Wow, it got cold. I love our team and the mom's. I look forward to chatting with them and they are truly my friends. Zach started on the superleague team at age 7. We've been on the team for almost 4 years. CRAZY!!!!!
Thanks for all the comments on my blog. I agree that no matter what Ty and I need to be at the wedding, however, it looks like they changed the date. His fiance posted on their blog that they were really upset about the lack of support from family members and proceeded to "hint" that they will elope. It was a blogpost that was written in anger and hurt quite a few members of the family. I dealt with a lot of phone calls today. Many of my family members were truly hurt. I hate this... i hate the problems this is causing. I don't think she realized the damage she did by posting her frustrations online. I won't share the post, because several of my family members emailed Matt --- and then her post disappeared. I don't want to judge her or her post. I feel I need to support Matt...period- and if he feels he is ready to marry- then it is HIS CHOICE. (lisa- love you and thank you again for calling yesterday and giving me the best advice!!!!) So right now, I am in the dark- no idea WHAT is going on.
Okay, I had so many emails about facebook. You can find me by my email- [email protected] ....sorry did not realize so many TC on there.
I am DONE kitting my classes for INSPIRATION UNLIMITED...YES!!!!! I am doing the happy dance. If you are going- make sure and join our message board. We do have a lot of KIT only's for the event. I am prestamping and making my kits for those that can't come- fabulous. So if you want a kit of all the classes, mini workshops, make n takes...you can do this. The event is so close... I even kitted up a few more kits so we could add some last minute signups....

I randomly picked ONE LUCKY winner of the PINK BIND IT ALL-
Posted by: Star | September 21, 2008 at 02:53 PM
Congrats STAR...please email me your address. I think you will LOVE your new PINK machine.
It is rainy and a little chilly here. I love it! It's so peaceful. I dread going to the grocery store, but I love a good rainy day. We had a family gathering this weekend at our home- yesterday. It was a lot of fun, but we also had a little "tension." I have thought long and hard about what to post about it. Our son Matt is getting married and there has been a big lack of communication going on. It's really been hard for us. Matt never told us when or where he was getting married...and I got a email about a week and a half ago from his fiance that said- here is the date-November 21st. Unfortunately, I am married to an insanely busy doctor. He books out patients 6 months in advance. In fact, on the date that Matt and his fiance selected- Ty has surgery. A patient who had to do medical releases, scheduled time off from her work(school teacher) and planned her vacation around this day. Ty feels like he commited to his patient and he has never cancelled a patients surgery.
Ty and I are heartbroken that no one consulted us before they chose the date- to see if we could make it. They know we both have commitments. He is having a really hard time- I guess you could say we both are. It's hard to be not included and especially with the fact that Matt always used to call and share everything with us. They are getting married in CA- and NO ONE from our entire family can make it on such short notice. This literally breaks our heart! We realize it's their wedding, and their special day. We raise our child and are there for them everyday- the good and the bad. THIS is one of those days that you WANT to be included in.
Anyway, we were having dinner and when Grandma mentioned the wedding date etc. Matt's finance, said "let's not talk about this..." and well, you can imagine...let's just say, TENSION. A lot of hurt feelings going on here. I just don't want to lose Matt. I want him a part of our life...our family. So I am trying to be the peacemaker. The hardest part is the hurt that this has caused Ty. Of course, there is more issues than just the date- but WOW...talk about emotionally draining.
On a positive side- spending time with the Collins family is always so fun. I love my family. I married into a wonderful and amazing family. We played games and enjoyed being together- family is so important! We had homemade Oreo Ice Cream (thanks Wayne!) but I didn't eat it...
I am on day 27 of no sugars or starches...I have NEVER went this long. I have no cheated and am down 23.5 lbs. Not too bad- but it's definitely NOT EASY!!!!
Thanks for reading this LONG post. I joined FACEBOOK- so if your on there- look me up!

So I waited until FRIDAY to post the video of the PINK BIND IT ALL- www.teresacollinsdesigns.com . Can you say "the cutest machine" in the world???? I have ONE winner to choose to win-
Pink Bind-it-All along with a Pink Tote
So if you HAVE not seen the BIA in PINK- it's the cutest, and of course it is my FAVORITE color.
My husband and I met at a gym. Yes, we were both there working out. Guess what I had on???? PINK... I have loved the color pink since I was a little girl who LOVED to play with my barbies. Unfortunately, I scalped quite a few of those barbies heads. Yikes- wish I had not done that.
If you look into my closet I have TONS of pink, black and white. Pretty boring! However, that's me- and I embrace WHO I am. I've come to accept myself for me. In a world where we compare ourselves to others and struggle to "Believe in what we're doing, and Believe in WHO we are"... I have really come to embrace WHO I am. Yes, faults and all. I think it helps that I believe that God loves each and every one of us (just the way we are). Also, HE can help us become who we want to be. All the beauty magazines sell us on being MORE perfect, prettier, thinner, younger, etc. and rarely do I see an article on LOVING OURSELF. My daughter McKay told me yesterday that she feels FAT. She is 14 years old and a size 0/2. Where in the world does this come from???
Tonight we are snuggling up and watching movies together with the family. Just what I want to be doing...
So I will pick ONE LUCKY PERSON to win the prize. Have a great night....

of the pink dreamkuts....
Me! please.........
Posted by: creativediva | September 17, 2008 at 12:29 PM
please email me creativediva...you were chosen randomly- congrats and email me your name/address. thanks!!!!
Today was carpool nonstop!!! Dance, piano, guitar, school...all day in the car...and I am so tired. I am now at home watching everyone try to get their homework done. Matt returns tonight at almost midnight for the weekend. So excited!!!
Taylor has made a big decision in her life. She has decided through a lot of prayer that she wants to go to college here in Utah. So she will finish up what she is doing in Oregon and will start school in Provo in January. She found out yesterday that she was accepted and is so excited to be home.(well it is about 40 minutes away from our home)
Also, I am so happy today because I was able to talk to a dear friend of mine today on the phone. Lisa is the owner of the amazing RUBAN ROUGE in Florida. She is a true friend and we talked for two hours...ha! Just catching up on life, our families and our love of the hobby. Lisa- I love you and am so thankful we took the time to chat.
I'm thinking of all my TX friends and the many store owners that I love. I have been so concerned and I feel pretty helpless. I heard The Scrapbook Junkie was majorly damaged. Beth- I'm sorry and I'm thinking of you!
Okay...this is mushy mushy so bear with me. I don't talk about my marriage a lot on the blog because like anyone married- we have our ups and downs and well it's all pretty much like every other marriage. I have been married FOREVER (in a good way) and we have been through so much with a blended family. Well, often- I take Ty for granted. He does so much for me, and often I don't appreciate it. I had a "big moment" this week realizing how much I love him. I know this will not make sense. I gained a new appreciation for the bond and commitment we have. I am thankful that no matter what anyone or the world thinks of me- he thinks the WORLD of me. He supports me 1,000%. Ty and I are rarely apart and he just got home on Monday from a 6 day trip hunting. I think it really helped me OPEN up my eyes to how much I love and depend on him everyday. I want to tell Ty that I adore you and you are my best friend. I'm sorry for being too hard on you...(hopefully he'll read this!!!) I think I have marriage on my mind a lot because I have several friends who are getting divorced. It's ugly and mean and I hate the hurt that I am witnessing. Matt is also in the midst of planning his marriage. It's such a big step and one of the most important life decisions he will make.
Well, Gentry made crepes for the family and so I need to go join in on the fun. I will drink my water- btw, I'm doing pretty good at my weight loss goals. I haven't cheated once and I'm down 23 lbs. WooHoo!!!! I am trying to lose that kitchen remodel weight by trying to stay focused and remember how much more fit I felt before. BTW- thanks for all the emails about the videos. I LOVE to hear your thoughts.
INSPIRATIONS UNLIMITED- in TWO weeks...and wow- even more sponsors. Streuter is coming to demo the cool foil glue method that Robin Beam's Halloween book was done with. Oh, and EVERYONE is getting to do their COOL make n take. I can't wait to do it myself. GOOD things... you should see the prize giveaways...

And these stores are also seeing and reaping the benefits of upselling by cross promoting the products that are designed to work with Teresa's product line. High ticket, high profit tools and accessories from Zutter and Scor-it can easily increase your bottom line with extra sales when you cross promote and merchandise these product lines together.
Two categories so both small and large stores have equal opportunities to win!
#1. 6' wide and under Teresa Collins Section
#2. Over 6' wide Teresa Collins Section
Equal prizes will be awarded to each category!
First Prize: Teresa Collins will teach a class (up to 30 people) in your store for Free! All expenses including class kits, air fare, hotel & meals will be paid for by Product Performers! The store owner can set and keep all class fees!
Second Prize: $500 shopping spree on the Product Performers website.
Third Prize: $300 shopping spree on the Product Performers website.
Fourth Prize (7 will be awarded in each category): $100 shopping spree on the Product Performers website.

We will be looking for the best merchandised sections so remember to set your sections to not only sell TC products, but also include products that can be upsold with TC products. All images will become property of Product Performers and by sending them you are agreeing that we can post them on our website. We plan on posting all the winners the first week in November.

thank you SHELBY for being so wonderful!!!!!!!
Matt left for Atlanta...miss him already. Many of you know that Matt came to live with us when he was 12 years old. He is now 23....and wow...I love him the same as all my children. I find myself emotional thinking of how much he means to me. I can honestly say, as a "step" mother...I am so thankful that he came into my life, and I think of him like my own son. I wrote him a letter for his birthday last week and expressed to him how much he means to me. So today...I'm thankful- and I feel blessed...I know not all step "family" and "children" situation is like my relationship with Matt.
WHO wants to WIN a PINK DREAMKUTS?????

today so much is on my mind. today is the 6th anniversary of my mothers passing. i found myself crying all day Saturday as I drove to a baseball game. it was about a 45 minute drive from my home. my son was meeting me at the game- so i was alone in the car. alone with my thoughts and emotions...i did not realize the date until i was in the car- crying. sometimes it feels good to just let it out- cry and let yourself be sad.
i have to say it was hard watching Taylor struggle. she called last night really tired and down. her kits did not do as well as she expected- it just wasn't what they were looking for. she did face painting with her new friend Summer and ended up doing well. however, she feels like she failed. so a cute blog reader drove 1.5 hours to the show and then purchased like 7 of her kits. she took a photo with my daughter. Taylor cannot remember her name- but SHE was an answer to my prayers. please email me because I want to brighten your day like you brightened my daughters.i am sending you some brand new TC goodies- bracket books, etc. and a class kit ($50) for free....PAY IT FORWARD...thank you - your kindness and help for my daughter will not be forgotten. it meant a lot to her. So please email me- and thank you!!!!
I heard some terrible news on Friday...I got this email...
Hey Teresa,
I got some very sad news today. My dear friend Aleida (the one from the e-mail below) was killed in a car accident this morning on her way to work.
http://www.studiocalico.com/forums/topic/7430
My heart is broken and though I know you did not know her, you did make each other smile the other day.
Just wanted to let you know.
Love, Dawn
***I did not KNOW this incrediable woman. She had emailed me two DAYS before she was killed. She is well known in the scrapbook world. When she emailed me- I laughed and smiled from her cute comments. I responded back to her. How thankful I am that I did. I went to her blog. I cried- I was struck by feeling a sense of KNOWING her. She loved her family- her life...it was EVIDENT. She was also a gifted scrapbooker. It once again reminded me of WHY I do what I DO- Why we ALL are doing WHAT we do...being the best mother, wife, friend, daughter, sister....and along the way capturing those memories. She leaves behind two small children and a husband- who have a treasure of projects that express her love for them. So thankful for my belief that DEATH is not the end. We will see our loved ones again. I know this and it is what gives me great joy in the sadness of losing the ones we love.
SO today...if I could simply say- LIVE EACH DAY like it is your last. Make memories and be happy... don't live for what is ahead but WHAT is happening RIGHT NOW-
Okay...now the good news of the day- I have TWELVE LUCKY winners of my stamps-

**** here is some photos. This is my island covered with countless kits. I kitted all day and I'm still not done.
I am on my kids computer and there is no photoshop...so the photos are dark- sorry!!! So for my cabinets, I had a large table in my house that I had them match my cabinetry too. It was a pain, but I love how they turned out. They are not white- but a "slightly" distressed- glazed cream color.
I have not decorated the house yet. I put a few canisters out, but it's pretty bare right now.
sorry- i know it's on it's side. This is one side of the kitchen. I LOVE cooking with a convection oven. I find that I am cooking all the time now. Everyday... Sorry it has taken so long to post the photos. Believe it or not- it's not all done. No knobs, etc.
I love FRIDAYS!!! I am so happy. I'm still kitting like crazy but it's so much better with the extra space in the kitchen. I did a big island for two reasons 1. ALL MY KIDS and their friends 2. KITTING (ha! but it's the truth).
New VIDEO is now up...showing my STAMP DEMO... www.teresacollinsdesigns.com . Check it out!!! I am in LOVE with the stamps. If your coming to INSPIRATION UNLIMITED you will be using several in the class project. So I am PICKING- 12- yes TWELVE...12...TWELVE Winners from todays post. Each of you will be sent TWO stamps each. I have chosen two of my favorite stamps to send you-
So post what your doing this weekend- or anything really...
Taylor is a little down because the show she is doing is pretty slow. She called a couple times yesterday and I tried to give her a pep talk. I told her to pray for success and that I would be praying for her too. A mother's prayer for their children is so strong. So Taylor- chin up!!! love you...
So many emails about my "diet." So the reason I think that I'm losing it pretty fast is that I gained it recently. I knew I had SLIDE backwards and if I did not get back on FOCUS that I would be really unhappy with myself. I decided to not tell what program nor blog too much about what I'm doing online, because last time I had so many people who joined LA WEIGHT LOSS because of me. It did not work for some of them- and I felt bad. I guess we all have to find our own thing that works for us. It's a big part of my life, so I share the journey.
Okay, I am going to finish the kits today and then take some photos of the kitchen. I will update this post with photos later today...so stay tuned. Oh, and leave a comment if you would like to be ONE of the TWELVE lucky prize winners of my stamps...
GIRLS the event is in THREE WEEKS...from today. So many GOOD surprises are in store...

***EDITED***
so many emails about my diet. basically NO sugars or starches!!! I eat organic foods- fresh when possible...apples, strawberries, grapefruit (everyday) and lean g. beef, chicken or shrimp- no soda ever- JUST lots and lots of water w/lemon. I eat salad with vinegar dressing. I know kind of boring but I am basically trying to lose the weight I gained during the remodel. GUESS what??? tomorrow- I'm going to post some photos of the kitchen and announce another PRIZE.
Taylor is doing this --Mount Angel Okoberfest September 11 - 14. Information at http://www.oktoberfest.org/ She is doing her own booth is called Taylor Made. It is in the Arts and Craft section. She said there is lots of fun all Teresa Collins products and to come by and say hi and be entered into a drawing. Taylor created all kinds of scrapbook kits and such. Since CHA S she has been a scrapbooking maniac (in a good way!!!) She would email me her layouts and ask for critique and feedback. She is really quite talented- so glad she caught the DESIRE. So important to document our memories.
Then my distributor Product Performers is at Scrapfest/Archivers at the MALL OF AMERICA this weekend. The dates are Sept 12-14th. There are make n takes- seriously HUGE make n takes going on with my products. *like the 8x8 halloween faux wood covers with 8x8 page protectors- yes- a MAKE N TAKE. New ones EVERY day- until gone. If your going be sure and stop by.
I am home doing designs and being super busy with my kids. Ty and Matt left yesterday for a special elk hunt a couple hours from our home. I won't hear from them for about FIVE days. It's hard without his help. I have THANKFULLY friends who help me with carpools. I have girls who have dance FOUR days a week and more/ piano/ two baseball teams/guitar lessons/ orthodontist appts...all in one week. Ha! Super busy but I love it.
Today I have the shutters being installed in my house. I hate being tied home all day. It's okay since I am still KITTING those Inspiration Unlimited kits. BIG PROJECT girls!!!!!

I know call us crazy- we wanted EVERYONE to be able to come and did the lowest possible cost we could do. I'm overjoyed... I never get to take classes or attend events. So I spend a lot of time teaching myself- reading books, how to's etc.
Today I made it into Karen Russell's THE PHOTOGRAPHERS WORKSHOP....
Course Description
The Photographers Workshop is a fun, information-packed nine week course filled with lessons, assignments and direct feedback, all geared towards having you taking better pictures in no time at all. The course is designed to teach you how to better see those ‘everyday moments’ and how to document them in a photograph. It includes the technical, the creative and the personal aspects of photography all in one class.
I am overjoyed. I needed this. I love photography and feel I'm pretty good at it. I have SO MUCH to learn. I respect Karen so much for doing these online workshops for girls like me- who want to learn more about photography. OVERJOYED!!! OVERJOYED!!!!

so thankful for a weekend with nothing but my family. We made a green cake with PINK icing on Friday night and neighbors came by (unexpectantly) to see the house. We have quite a few drop in's lately. Wish it was done, but it's close. The painters will come tomorrow and finish the painting. Gentry moved into Taylors old room and it was repainted....not a color I would have chosen- it is BRIGHT...Can you guess the color???? YELLOW. She loves it. I am recovering my chair cushions from my table. I never like the fabric that they come with.
Then I got to see my little Ty play baseball all day yesterday. What a joy!!!! It was a gorgeous day but I'm a little tired from losing weight. BTW- I'm really focused and have lost over 15 lbs. With my home remodel gain (yes, let's blame it on that- ha!) and such I still want to lose much more. Anyway, the day was great. The entire weekend has been.
I did an article for this months Scrapbook Etc. on Everyday Memories...so if you get a chance- check it out! I have the 7Gypsies Rolodex in there and a layout of my "everyone moments." I love this magazine and really enjoyed working with them.

Today we posted the Faux Wood Cover video on my website... www.teresacollinsdesigns.com - you can check it out and tell me what you think....
I have SIX PRIZES to give away to SIX people -
Each winner will get 1 9x9 faux wood Halloween Cover, 6--- 8x8 page protectors and 4 Halloween 8x8 papers. Woo Hoo!!!! You can see my book in the video!!!
Jamie was at CREATIVE ESCAPE in AZ doing Teresa Collins make n takes for me all day. Thanks Jamie!!!! I am home getting ready for the Inspirations Unlimited event (counting down the days!!!!) and doing the home renovations. We have the painters in this week and the tile contractor (still working on the backsplash). The reason why it is taking so long- is that we did more than the kitchen. Normal things- new paint, new carpet (not done yet), etc. Anyway, I am home watching over everything...and being a mom.
I have some major issues going on in my life right now. The kind that knock you to your knees. It's hard for me to blog right now. You know things you just don't share- kind of thing. I am a firm believer in that we are given trials to make us stronger. I just have spent a lot of time in prayer - I know it will be okay if I do what I know in my heart is right. Right is right...right??? It is something that I share ONLY because it will take a lot of time and focus away from what I would rather be doing...and focusing on. So if my blog seems a little short or different for a time- well, this is the reason.
OKAY- winners of the TC 8x8 papers--

So thankful for Taylor. As you know she is going to school/working in Oregon. She calls me everyday- she called last night to tell me how much she loves and misses me. She said "Mom, your my best friend and I just want to be home to be with you." She mentioned how much her moving out has made her appreciate ME and her family/life. So proud of you Tay- and WE MISS & LOVE you MADLY too....
HOPE your weekend is fantastic. I have baseball games tomorrow and LOVE this part of my life. It's the SIMPLE things.....
I'll PICK SIX WINNERS- do you like the online videos?????

Another video is posted at my website... www.teresacollinsdesigns.com NOW...
It is the 8x8 paper video today.
SIX commenters will win- 1 each sheet of all 12 of my 8x8 papers. Wanna win????
So tell me just one thing- Do you believe in psychics-mediums??? I know such an odd question. I ask because I recently met someone who is psychic. I could NOT believe the things he shared with me. It was amazing and very accurate. He told me that my mother was standing right beside me and described what she looked like. (my mother was beautiful- dark long hair and 1/2 Indian) I know both my parents were dark haired and coloring...and I came out blonde and blue eyed. Go figure! My ancestors are Swedish though. Anyway... it was quite the interesting conversation.
I have another "little" peak to show-
This is my PINK/White Scor it Damask Cards...that I made into a book. I used my Bella Girl papers and the stamps you see are all from stamp line. I love the photo inside the stamp.
Anyway, thanks for the comment about my friend. I've spent the last couple of days feeling sad about her email. I did email her back an explanation/apology being that I had hurt her feelings- but never got a response. I have very few "close" friends and so this was especially hard on me. I feel in my heart that I did what was right.
I am doing GREAT on my "fitness/diet" protocol. I've now lost 12 lbs....yeah for me!!!!! I can't say it's not tough. So much easier to GAIN it- then lose it. My kitchen is STILL not done and I'm okay with that. Counting my blessing that I have a full use of the kitchen-
off to take McKay to dance- she made the top Jazz Performing Team at her dance studio. She auditioned last week and made it...YEAH!!!!!
I'll pick SIX WINNERS!!!!

I have been PLAYING all weekend long. Yes, technically it is my work- but I LOVE what I do. I needed to do some stamp samples- shipping off to Stampers Anonymous tomorrow. WOW- I feel LUCKY and BLESSED to have found a company to design my stamps for. They are fantastic- and I love the stamps...so here is "SOME" of the designs. I plan to add a NEW layout/card/ tag- EVERYDAY this week for FUN.
I found this SPOOKTACULAR tree- and loved it. What a cool way to show my Halloween- stamps!!!!
I did SIX stamps for my collection. This little tree will be at the stamp shows- so if you go to them- you can see them upclose. Oh, the spider on the HALLOWEEN tag is a sticker!!!!
I LOVE to decorate for Halloween- not too much, but fun accents to get the KIDS and me excited. Little Ty is browsing the internet for this years costume. Yes, I get dress up too- hey, I'm a room mom at school. This year- I'm wanting to be Cinderella. I was a Witch last year...(ha!) Gotta switch off the years!
I made another booth sample of my 'tis the season- Christmas Stamps... yes, all the stamps (clock, words, circles) are from my collection. I made this little white tag book with my friend Kate Kammans baby Erin. Well, she is not a little baby anymore- but she is a total beauty.
Aren't children our GREATEST gift???? So thankful...
So I have some feelings to share. It seems I hurt one of my dearest friends feelings when I redid my blog links here on my blog. I am trying desperately to please everyone. In the mean time, I got a very hurtful email. I am pretty sensitive and a tender heart. I am working on doing a business website blog as well as this one- my personal blog. I am a straight shooter- I share from my heart...probably at times too much. However, that is ME...who I am!!! Right now, I have so many people who want me to list them and add them to my blog contacts and some who want me to delete other people. HA! So I decided to take them ALL off..my best friends, people that I adore and ADMIRE. I will repost my list eventually. For now, it's just my closest events and people/sources from my business. If you were on my list PLEASE know I still love and admire EACH of you. I just need to step back and simplify things until I can get my other blog up and going. It hurts me deeply to know that I have hurt anyone- especially my friend.
So THANK you for the constant support you each give me. I have thousands of hits on my blog every day...however, very few of you comment- smile!!! so it's nice to know who is here and reading and hopefully at times being INSPIRED...today I'm sending you a big CYBER HUG... I know I'm really corny!!!!!
So the winners- woo hoo- email me- all winners so we can send out your fabulous goodies....

It's hard to say PICK ME, after I have read all the cute posts from everyone. Especially one that created a line with each letter in bind it all. But, I will just say, that a pretty in pink bind it all would find a good home at my house and would be loved as much as my other tools.
By, the way, Pink, Black and White colors rock!
