Today is my last day posting on this blog. Oh my... one of the hardest decisions to make. I feel like I am breaking up with typepad. I just have had issues with the design capability and also so MANY people had a hard time subscribing to this blog and commenting. It's been a problem for years.
My heart was torn... I have been blessed with a massive blog following and I was scared to do this move. What if no one finds me at my new blog? This blog is my baby. I share from the heart and feel like I am sharing with my friends. This blog is a huge part of me and sharing. I have tried to always share with honesty and be real. FEAR to change.... I know... FEAR is not good. So today I have COURAGE. I will be okay and I will follow my heart. I will be using and sharing my NEW BLOG later tonight.
So TODAY... it's FRIDAY!!!!!
I have three meetings and OKAY... maybe my dinner meeting with My Craft Channel is a little FUN time. I am meeting my friend Kristine for dinner and honestly this is the FIRST time in MONTHS that I am "making myself" go out. I know I need a little girl time and well Kristine and I can talk about MCC, MY SHOW and have a GREAT evening. I LOVE HER... yes, but feeling the guilt to not be home with Ty.
I have so many things going on and I feel so fortunate and blessed. I do think that often in life, it's HOW you look at things. In this trial right now... I choose to LOOK with HOPE and great FAITH that we have beat this cancer. I have been crying alot this past week. The reality is... we have testing coming up next month. I know that this is hard for Ty. Anyone who has done a bone marrow biopsy will tell you that it's the WORST pain. I hate to see him go through this again. The tests begin with CAT scans, blood work, the biopsy and more. I still look at the miracle it is that with modern medicine they can save his life and others. I just count my blessing every single day... that he is HERE now with me.
Since Tyler has not left the house since his transplant (well, except for visits to the Huntsman Cancer Institute)- we simply are together. NO distractions. It really is something I have grown to love so much. It's true the simple things in life are the BEST. Just sitting beside him watching Family Feud- he LOVES this show and now I love it too... is our new normal in the evenings. Gotta love that crazy Steve Harvey!!!!!
Okay... so SHARING...

I have been having a really hard sleeping. I know it's because I have so much going on. My mind just seems to race. I keep thinking of what I need to do, things I'm not doing well (keeping my house clean enough) and some big things that are happening in my company. I have been really busy the past week with the announcement of my cruise in November. It sold out in 2 days... I added more spots... it spot out again and well, as you can imagine... in less than a week we are OVER sold. I am just amazed at the response. We are closing up the signups and have a waitlist going for the crafting portion. Anyone can still sign up and go as cruiser or sign up and see if a spot opens in the crafting portion. I simply have NO more room in the workshops at this point. I know there may be some people who may be in the process of signing up so please just email first- [email protected].
When I teach at retailer stores, I like to let the stores choose the projects that they would like for me to teach. I have found the most requested classes are always my larger book classes. So I am used to this. I am teaching this MEMORY DISPLAY PROJECT at several upcoming stores. I kept thinking that I wanted to add a "bonus" project that they can do later or during the class, etc. I won't have time to teach it but it's part of the class kit.
So now if you are taking the MEMORY DISPLAY workshop... YOU are going to get a BONUS project (yes, it's a file memory keeper book).
So TODAY for the first time I am sharing it with you.
So we will be doing the Memory Display Tray and this BONUS FILE MEMORY KEEPER BOOK. I just love books and wanted to do this very interactive file book.
This is just a really easy way to do a book about YOU or someone. I know it's hard to document about "yourself," but it's so important that we put ourself in our "life story."
Here is the inside of the FILE MEMORY KEEPER book. The book have so many flaps, cards, pockets, and well... it's a BONUS project that is included in the workshop. I couldn't help myself!!!!!!
The MEMORY DISPLAY BOARD and bonus FILE MEMORY KEEPER BOOK is being taught at Scrapbook Daisy's- Long Beach California (Feb. 22nd), Scrapdoodles Event- Fredricksburg, Virginia (March 1st), and EMI Scrapbooking in Cumming, Georgia (March 21st & 22nd). I am super excited to share this with you.
Also, I wanted to let my Southern California friends know that I am going to be back at EVER AFTER SCRAPBOOK store in Vista California teaching again on December 5-6th 2014. I am so excited... this has been a tradition for years. The store recently sold to new owners and they could not be any nicer.

I don't think it's any secret that I love to create mini books. I love all the layering, dimension and variety from making books. One of my new products is the prebound ESSENTIALS ALBUM. I love that the new book has not only designed pages, clear page protectors, but it has a sticker and die cut sheet included with the book.
*full view ESSENTIALS BOOK in the BOX workshop
I am now going to be teaching the book in upcoming workshops. I wanted to share a peek of the projects. I decided to create the ESSENTIALS ALBUM mixed with some of my DAILY STORIES collection too. I used the TC eBosser machine and dies to create the words and emboss some of the elements. I added the new file folders from the Daily Stories collection.
As I designed the album, I knew I wanted a beautiful box to place the book inside. So the book could be placed securely inside the BLACK box. The black box lifts open with a closure. I LOVE... well, am addicted to the gold frame on the outside of the box. *these "gold" frames are from my BLINGAGE collection from a couple of years ago. (they are sold out now but I "saved" enough for the perfect project- which is this class!!!) I am actually doing the TC metal frames again- so watch for them to come BACK!!!!!
Here is a view of the inside of the book. The right side is the two clear page protectors. I am majorly addicted to my sequins. I have to say I think the colors in each of skus are YUMMY!!!!!
Well, it gets BETTER... I had enough product to do TWO books that will fit inside the box. I decided to do the DAILY NOTEBOOK from the large file folder.
The largest file folder in DAILY STORIES is SUNDAY- SATURDAY and I placed a lined notebook pad inside the folder. This is a bonus project and I am so happy how it turned out. So two books... inside the box.
The word ARCHIVED is from the die cut sheet that comes inside each of the file folder skus.
Pocket pages don't always have to be photos....
Just note- if you ever take a workshop from me... always bring your stapler and clear adhesive. I actually carry my TC pink Xyron Stapler and clear adhesive with me in my purse.
I always teach projects that the stores or events feel best fit their customers and those who would like to attend my classes. I will be teaching this workshop for the first time at Hannah's Home Accents in Antioch IL- March 7-8th.
I am also teaching this DAILY STORIES CLIPBOARD for the first time there as well.
The clipboard is quite large. We will make the tissue paper flowers in class. Thank you HAZEL & RUBY for the donation. You will LOVE this speciality paper. The flowers are simple and fun to create.
Here is a full view from the front. It's quite packed now with products... plus I added all my favorite photos.
I use my TC Xyron Chipboard punch to easily punch the top of each of my pages. It is the exact size for the top of the these chipboards. I love "no measuring!!!"
This workshop has lots of flip up, flaps, envelopes and embossed elements.
This "was" plain white BAZZILL cardstock that we will emboss with my 8.5x12" h TC Herringbone embossing folder. In class we will use my machine (TC eBosser) so you can create this beautiful depth and texture to your pages. It's really amazing how deep and get such a customized look with my folders and machines.
I will show you how to create "embossed" tabs and use your die cuts in your design elements too!
Today is MONDAY and I have a new show that debuts today on My Craft Channel. It is showing my new FLIP BOOKS.
http://www.mycraftchannel.com/shows/Teresa-Collins-Designs-Show/Teresa-Collins-Flip-Books
They have been so popular that we had to reorder them already to meet the demand. Hope you have a FABULOUS Monday!!!!

I am so excited to announce something special. I am doing another crafting cruise. I wanted to find the best deal and offer something out of this world amazing and affordable.
So you are invited to join me for a SEVEN NIGHT WESTERN CARIBBEAN CRUISE on Royal Caribbean-
It is the 2014 Teresa Collins Caribbean Cruise to the Caribbean.
Here is some of the Navigator of the Sea ship highlights:
Not only does it sail effortlessly through the waters of the Caribbean, it contains some of the cruise industry's most amazing features - a rock-climbing wall, a basketball court, an ice-skating rink and an in-line skating track. Dare we say there's more? What about a five-story theatre, a casino, a miniature golf course and a spectacular three-story dining room? This 138,000-ton nautical wonder has it all. This ship has been updated "Navigator". The rooms have been remodeled, with the added the wave runner. The wifi is updated as well.
I will be teaching workshops while we are at sea- yes, big projects that I am known for. There will be prizes, make n takes, a TC gift bag, t shirt... and so much more. You can come and create with me for the seven day cruise. Feel free to bring along the family, husband, or friends to join you.
We do group dining each night, and we love and encourage group togetherness. However, you are free to do as you wish- this is YOUR vacation. If you want to participate in the crafting/creating portion- you will love the 24/7 access to the crop & classroom.
Last year when I did the Caribben cruise my heart was really heavy that Tyler was not able to go with me. We had planned he would go and then we learned he had cancer. After the chemo treatments and the transplant... we are now taking it day by day with this cancer journey. I was going to cancel doing a 2014 cruise.
Then I thought of Ty and his determination to get better. Ty and I love to cruise and it is our FAVORITE vacation/down time. We find that being away from the daily texts and calls/emails just force you to SLOW DOWN. It is a way for you to unplug. As a couple it is a great way to reconnect.
So I wanted to plan this 2014 TC cruise this year so that Tyler (hopefully) is able to go. I knew that by November if all is well, he will join me. So we are keeping our fingers crossed and praying that he will be healthy and can go. Right now... I tell him- YOU are going and we are going to use this as our TRIP as our big motivator after the year we have endured. I know he wants so much to go on this with me. I know he feels the LOVE from each of you too. He reads the comments and appreciates the prayers and support. We feel it. So if you join me... US... know that this is going to be a very special celebration for us. I hope you will join us.
The cruise is SEVEN days leaving from Galveston Texas. If you are flying to Texas, you can fly to either Houston Hobby or George Bush International Airport. Royal Caribbean will offer the service to the port on the day of arrival and the departure date of the cruise. You can sign up directly with the cruiseship.
In picking this particular cruise, I took many things in factor. I wanted the cruise to be on a great cruise line, an affordable price, and ports that would be beautiful and fun to visit. I wanted to keep the crafting portion very reasonable.
I have never been to the Mayan Ruins. So I look forward to seeing and visiting this at one of the ports. Cozumel offers this amazing ruin. Can you imagine the photos????
Another port is Costa Maya. It once was a trading post for the Mayan Empire. It is located in the Mexican Caribbean and is best known for its jungles, beaches, lagoons and Mayan ruins.
Recent development and modern port facilities are making Costa Maya the perfect port of call. With so many activities, it will be hard to decide what to do first.
The other port we will visit is Roatan, Honduras. I am happy to simply be on the warm beach in November!!!!!
Roatan, the largest of the three Bay Islands, is where most modern day explorers go to discover the labyrinth of coral reef beneath the dazzling aquamarine colored water and enjoy a relaxing Caribbean style vacation.
Just a little note- the cruise will ONLY hold the super rate for us until February 22nd. I am going to work to see if it will be extended, but I cannot guarantee it. I also have set a limit on how many crafters will be able to sign up. We have a meeting space and once we hit the limit of participants the event will be sold out. Last year, the event and cruise sold out. The cost is based on per person either as a inside stateroom at $394.00 per person before taxes and $690.00 per person for the OCEAN VIEW w/ a balcony before taxes. Yes, that is for SEVEN NIGHTS!!!!!!
Also, you are invited to join the facebook page where you can ask any questions and get to know those who are going.
2014 Teresa Collins Scrapbook Cruise Facebook Group
Number 1-800-465-3595Group Number 1832379 (Give this to the Guest Service Agent)
Rooms will be held and guaranteed at a TC Group Rate until 2/22/14 (or until the event is sold out).
Scrapbook portion of the event- Participation fees of $200.00 USD are to be paid through Teresa Collins by 8/1/2014. Event fees are separate from your cruise fees.
This is going to be a GREAT Monday. I am so happy that some how all the details worked out so that this special cruise event can happen this year. If you have any questions please either post them on the facebook page or email [email protected]. I would love for you to join in on the fun!!!!

This beautiful layout is on the wall at CREATIVE WORLD in Frankfurt Germany right now. Jennifer Haggerty was recently added to my 2014 TC design team. Isn't she amazing? I love that she used DAILY STORIES and my new stencils and modeling paste in the same layout. WOW!!!!
I am happy to say that my company is there right now at the trade show. I am showing a photo of Sean Edgar my sales director with the President of My Mind's Eye- Jason. I am happily hearing that the show is going amazing and that GREAT things are happening. I am most impressed with how well the booth looks. I did a format for how the products and projects should look... and it even looks better than what I had in my mind. IMPRESSIVE!!!!!
I am in the same building as My Mind's Eye. Recently, Hazel & Ruby moved in as well. It's crazy to have three companies together but it works. It is quite the LARGE warehouse too. We are all separate companies, but it has been a HUGE blessing to have a team of built in support. We are all like family. So in Germany the boys are there and doing a great job representing!!!!!
Originally, I had planned to be there as well. However, with the cancer situation I knew I was just coming home from CHA and needed to be home with Tyler. I have quite the BIG business/travel schedule for 2014. I feel so overwhelmed at times because my company is exploding with growth. I know... crazy right??? I KNOW for sure that God is making this happen. I know that HE knew I would be the one supporting our family now. I know that Heavenly Father is truly in charge. I am just listening to HIM and his direction for me... us... our family.
I have days where I think... how can I do this? I am tired... I have so much on my shoulders, and then I KNOW that he is carrying me. This trial is HARD. I am SAD because I can't help Tyler in so many ways on this journey. I am trying to balance and juggle keeping a spotless home, work, my boys, traveling, teaching, designing (oh, it's NONSTOP!!!) and finding a "little" me time. Ty is completley homebound 24x7. We haven't let anyone even come inside our house but our children and his mom. We can't risk him getting any sickness. The journey is still the same... painfully slow. His energy is so low and he is constantly dizzy. Even in bed lying down he is dizzy. He tries to stay out of bed and just walk around the house. He hasn't gained weight but THIS WEEK- his eyebrows are coming in again. He is getting eyelashes back... all this week. He is adorably cute!!!!
I want to let you know that I am so GRATEFUL for my life right now... for the lessons I have learned. I will NEVER take one day for granted. Life is such a gift. Through our trials we are truly stronger. Okay... I have something FABULOUS to share on MONDAY... I am excited. I hope you will check back and see what it is.
The big winner of the TC We R MEMORYS KEEPER ALBUM and SET is.... CHIPNDALEFAN.... EMAIL ME at [email protected] and WHEN they are shipping I will make sure you get your favorites!!!!
CONGRATS!!!!!!

I wanted to show you just how beautiful the NEW TC/We R MEMORY KEEPERS albums and card set are. I was so excited to do my very first 12x12 albums and cards with the ALBUMS MADE EASY system. I loved working with them to make these products. I knew I wanted to add a chic & classic look to the system. My first love and career was interior design so this will always inspire all that I do. I wanted glittered albums- and they came out just perfect. PS- the glitter does not come off. I promise these albums will make you swoon if you love sparkle like I do.
We debuted FIVE 12x12 albums at the trade show. They were such a big hit and I just was overjoyed with the reaction. It's a whole new direction for me and the start of a beautiful relationship. Here are the five albums-
I wanted to do a clear album. It has faint diagional stripes because I personally love to see the photos and what is inside the album. Each of the albums are heavy duty and top quality like We R Memory Keepers are known for.
Upclose of the albums. I picked my favorite words to put on the subway art album. I can't wait to start teaching with these TC ALBUMS MADE EASY system.
So I wanted to share how the TC Albums Made Easy card sets work. I wanted to do something NEW and different. I felt like my cards needed to reflect my brand and style.
Each of these four card sets have beautiful cards, die cut word cards, GLITTER CARDS (first time this has been done in these sets) and clear transparency cards in both 3x4 and 4x6. I was so impressed with the quality and how they came out.
I will show you the four different card sets so you can see the images.
CARD SETS- HELLO LIFE, QUOTED, SNAPSHOTS, and ARCHIVED.
I don't think I could even pick a favorite, and I have done an album with each of my new sets and albums.
CARD SET: HELLO LIFE
TC CARD SET- QUOTED
For variety, I have some with COLOR and some more subtle. These card sets are full of my favorite quotes, and thoughts on life.
CARD SET: ARCHIVED
I am in LOVE with this one and many people said they would use it for DISNEY photos. How cool is that?????
CARD SET: SNAPSHOTS
I have to admit, this one with the craft and silver glitter is just STUNNING. I did my book and felt it was so easy to put it with any photo. I really love the big glittered camera, and dots too!!!!
This is a little collage of the sets. I am going to be posting my actual project soon so that you can see the way I designed my albums. I promise it is not hard and a great way to document your life.
Now... I know you are going to ask, when is this available? These albums and cards will be available directly from We R Memory Keepers (retailers) in February/early March. I will let everyone know when they are available and shipping. I know MANY stores have already pre-ordered the entire collection and many online stores told me that they are carrying the entire lines now and going forward.
I would LOVE to know which of the albums is your favorite and the favorite card set. If you will post on my blog today- I will pick a winner. I will send YOU the ALBUM and CARD SET as soon as they are available. How cool is this????
Want to win????? I would LOVE if if you would share this post today with your friends. I am going to read ALL your feedback and suggestions on what you want to see me do. More great things are in store.
Thank you and GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

The photo is a little mix of the various workshops that I am teaching the next few months. I am excited to share a few of my upcoming workshops visuals that I will be teaching... starting next month.
I want to challenge those who take my workshops to experiment more in mixed media and my new line of stencils and modeling paste. (yes, it's very classic, fresh, light and TC style... but easily able to be darker, vintage and grunge). I have many stores visits and events that I am going to this year. I am grateful everyday for a growing business. I am grateful that more than ever I can work, now that Tyler can't. Every single day he tells me how proud of me he is and how thankful he is that I am able to do this.
I promised to post the stores and events. Note: some more are in the work to be finalized so stay tuned.
