This weekend was a long weekend. Gentry enjoyed some time with Devan and his parents at a basketball game. I am so happy that she is marrying into a fabulous family. They like to play games as a family and so she loves this. I love that they treat like family already. Gentry spends so much time with Devan when she is not studying or in class. I am so okay with this. We talk every day and we are working on the wedding plans via emails and phone calls. She is going for classic and chic. I love that she is doing so many "hand crafted" items for the wedding.
Since McKay did not have school today, she came home for two days. I simply love that she came to church with us and brought her two "besties" Josilyn and Taylor Ann. This girl has so many wonderful friends in her life. She got a new camera for Christmas since hers was stolen a few months ago. She shared her latest photos from college life with me today.
They go to school in Provo, Utah. It is where I went to college too. It's small and some people don't like the "bubble." However, McKay LOVES it. They find fun things to do and she has a large group of good friends.
Right after church, I asked them if I could take a photo. I have no doubts that they will be life long friends.
These two girls have been best friends since 7th grade. They room together now. They even share a bedroom. They are getting along great and even "share" their jewelry.
I was worried that they shouldn't room together, but it hasn't been a problem at all.
Yes, they find things to do. Like going to the frozen duck pond. I am so thankful McKay is taking photos.
Yes, funny photos of her guy pals...
Now if only I could get them to scrapbook. For now, I am doing it for her. They love Snap Chat, but I'm not a fan.
Last night, we had a overnight party at our house. The girls wore footed zip up pjs and decided to make a movie. I was laughing so hard.
I love that it was almost midnight and they had so much energy. The boys were paying no attention. Fun times at the age of 18!!!!!
I am pretty excited. Ty is getting his braces off today. Another step that he is growing up.
Today on My Craft Channel, I did a segment on how to display your photos in your home or office.
Family Photo Display
"I love the display trays that you simply add your photos inside. I love how you can add so many embellishments and photos too. Today I will share one that created one that is like my "family crest." I even painted the tray and added thoughts and meaning along with my photos. As seen in my Teresa Collins Signature Idea Book with Northridge Media. I will share my teenage son's photo display from his bedroom. You are never too young to start!"
