I have to say you NEVER know what is going to happen when you are doing live TV. At Good Things Utah they have a live studio audience. Someone had come with a young child and while I was doing my segment the child started to SCREAM really loud. I decided to ignore it and keep going. Ha!
I didn't really get time to talk about closures for mini book. I love using the small round pieces of hook and loop. Another great way is to use a rubberband or ribbon to keep the book closed. I used the Westcott trimmer that both scores and trims paper- love it!
It was so nice to have Gentry home with us for a day. We had a great holiday yesterday together. I went to Cafe Rio with my kids. The first time in 10 weeks! The man preparing my salad could not believe all I wanted on my salad was chicken, lettuce, guacomole, and pico. Yes, I said no to the tortilla, rice, beans, cheese, chips and the WONDERFUL dressing. ha! It was good but I admit, I missed the dressing the most. It definitely takes some discipline to change. This is for sure my favorite restaurant and I was so happy that I changed my normal to something "more healthy." The kids are back in school today and the house is WAY too quiet. I'm finishing up my projects for some upcoming visits. I can tell you that in JUNE- I am headed to HOUSTON TEXAS!!!!! I'll post the store, dates and MORE this week.
