Tonight, I thought I would share some photos that Sarah took at the event. She went to the IU event last year and made a BEST friend for life...Katie. I LOVE this!!!! Sarah came alone last year and met Katie. The entire past year they kept in contact, grew to be closer friends. On Saturday night, we gave away a spot for IU 2011. When SARAH won it... Katie got tears in her eyes. She was so happy for her. THIS melts my heart.
Aren't they the CUTEST??????
I want to talk about Melody Ross. She is the beautiful girl in yellow. She is the BRAVEST girl that I know. She changed my life, my perspective and helped me to be much BRAVER in my life. She was our special guest- keynote speaker on Saturday night. She shared from her heart... her trials and what she had learned. Melody has a GIFT. She does these amazing retreats that offer ART and SOUL workshops that help woman. It's STRONG...powerful and Melody and Kathy help you to realize the inner strength and beauty that we all possess. I really want to go back to BRAVES GIRLS. It has been a year now and I still feel the effect of going there in my life.
She truly did INSPIRE us all and it was a GREAT treat to have her at the event!
Private cabanas for your pool time pleasure- no time for this for me!!!
I have SO many more photos to share tomorrow!!!!!
However, I want to share with you some beautiful projects.
These projects are made by Marilise from Brazil. She used my collections to make some albums and I loved them and wanted to let you see them also.
I love how she mixed color, and her style so beautifully with several of my lines! I enjoy seeing the projects others have done!
Tonight, I had TWO parent teacher conferences. If you are my friend on FACEBOOK you know that McKay needs to stop talking so much in class. McKay is just a social butterfly. When she was a little girl I would catch her talking to ROCKS. Yes, that's my outgoing girl. Zach loved that I got to meet his 7th grade teachers. He even thanked me for going with him- I feel pretty fortunate that he is appreciative young man.
EXCITED... Gentry will come home from college this weekend to visit. Yikes... I can hardly contain myself. Oh, and Zach has a BIG birthday party on Saturday. He asked if Gentry could drive him to the party place. He misses his big sister!
*I finally joined TWITTER too...
