Today I drove down to visit with Gentry. I had so many emotions going on... that I cried most of the 40 minutes to her apartment. I admit it...so much change has been going on in our family and I think that having her gone has not been easy on me. I kept doing "positive self- talk" and getting mad at myself for being such a emotional mess. I can't even describe in words but I feel like with so much changing in the past year for my family- it's almost like I'm dealing with "change overload."
I am sure that having Ty gone has had it all more difficult. I am parenting solo for a bit and trying to get my kids to three different schools, and juggling nonstop baseball and drill team stuff. I just miss him a ton!!!!!
So Gentry's apartment was all white (with a tan sofa) and so we headed to buy a few things to give her a little color! Her roommates asked her to help make it cuter. I loved watching Gentry put it all together.
She loved the idea of SILVER, GRAY and RED. We found all of the items at a great discount shop- Tuesday Morning. They have close outs and deeply discounted items for the home. The pop of RED was so what the apartment needed. Gentry loves bling too, so it was natural to add a little SPARKLE into the mix.
Thankfully, her roommates LOVED the new "look" of the apartment. I met two of the roommates today. They were both so sweet and the girls are becoming close. RELIEF!!!!!!
Did you hear????? December- Ever After-California- ME!!!! (excited)
Tomorrow... I am posting ALL of the class details.
I am traveling all over this next year and can't wait to share. I am SO LUCKY!!!!!!!!
