OFF we go- we go boating on Wednesdays and since it rained so much in June...this is our first trip this year. SO excited. I asked Ty to pick up the new HANNAH MONTANA CD last night and he loaded it in my IPOD. I know... I'm silly but I watch the show with my kids. I love TWO of the songs- He could be the ONE and I wanna know you with David Archuleta. Such catchy tunes- ha!
I walked this morning with and listened to the fave songs over and over...I have to work out to music to make it more enjoyable and faster. If you work out and you have great music...please share. I like FASTER beats so that it helps me MOVE faster.
Anyone done ZUMBA classes?
We are leaving now for the lake. Lots of sunscreen in hand- and the kids happy to go tubing. We have to leave early and get back home so that the girls and I can shower and head to YC camp. I am excited. I love being in the mountains and nature. No internet, NO cell phones... a complete way to decharge.
THANKS for the comments on my sneak peak. YOU have so much more to see and I'm going on TV on Monday July 20th and plan to do a project with my new lines...so much MORE that I can't wait to show....(Good Things Utah).
Have a great day!

ZUMBA is so addicting and upbeat I love it. My job offers it as part of their wellness program it was an 11wk program and I lost 10.5 pds, and 7 inches in my waist. I recommend it cause its more upbeat than regular aerobic classes and you learn dance like moves and routines keeps you learning and on your toes. JUST DO IT!!!!

That's sweet for donating your products (and for thinking of us, out-of-state girls who would like to have a go at your kit too!)
Okay, I like listening to The Toadies Rubberneck cd when I walk or workout (WHEN I walk or workout that is!)
The lyrics are a little weird--no, a lot weird--but the beat and the music
R O C K ! ! ! ! ! !
It'll get you up and at 'em--especially the very first (instrumental) song. Pretty fun. You may have heard at least one of the songs back in the 90's. Check it out in itunes!
HOpe y'all are having a fun day at the lake. And at youth camp. Sounds wonderful!!!

Zumba is the BEST work out ever invented! I seriously do not feel like I am working out because it is FUN. The hour goes by so quickly in comparison to do my elliptical or treadmill for an hour. The music is upbeat and the choreography is easy to catch on to, nothing too difficult. You burn a lot of calories! (cannot recall how much but my instructor wore something and told us and I was impressed) she wore a pedometer also one night & it was over 5000 steps! You would love it! Cannot wait to hear if you try it!

I just signed up for Zumba it starts on the 15th. I am excited because I have heard such great stuff about it. I am doing line dancing and its a great work out and so fun. Keeps you moving. Its over and I dont even realize it. That is the sign of a fun class when it ends before you expect it to rather than looking at the clock.
Songs I just put into my new iPod that I bought for my Avon Walk this Saturday:
- Wham! its what we used to clean out to in college
- Living LaVida Loca- Ricky Martin
- Los Lonely Boys
- Elvis - you aint nothin but a hound dog
- Stray Cats - its all upbeat
Take the class - we can chat about it on the group site!
Good luck wtih the yard sale and CKU.

ok, what are ZUMBA classes?? I live in South Africa - probably haven't reached us yet although I am so not a gym bunny so maybe I'm just out of the loop here ...
Weirdly enough I also like a couple of Miley's songs - well, one in particular - I thinks it's called "Climb" - just love it ... quite mature for such a young girl I'd say ...
Anyhow, good luck with the yard sale ...
Love, Tracy G

Hi Teresa, just found your blog, I will get to meet you next year as I signed up for the alsaka cruise!
When I get on my treadmill, I have to listen to George Michael songs, his fast ones, they are great to work out to!
Make sure you get the biggest loser theme, very motivating, Proud by Heather Small.

Ok, I'm hearing Zumba but have no idea what it is...well, other than I think it's a new trend in exercise. Am I right?
Oh those lucky Utah girls, wish I could come to that garage sale.

Hi Teresa,
I had the Zumba dvd and absolutely loved the workouts they had. Very fast paced (once I got the steps) and great music.
See if you can find the DVD you will like it. I am currently doing the Wii Fit and love it. So much fun.
