I had the most wonderful day- well technically it is Thursday now. I started my day by getting up and taking a long power walk. It was really hot and so I need to get up and out the door earlier. I think my all time favorite exercise is walking. It is when I THINK and THINK and evaluate my life, my goals, and also use it as a time to UNWIND. I so need a walking buddy!!!!!! I try to talk my girls into going with me, but after three hours of dance everyday they are TIRED and SORE! I talked to some of my friends tonight (mom's from the drill team) and asked them to meet me at the high school track in the evenings to walk. They said they would- we shall see. Ha! I think having a work out partner is the BEST thing to keep motivated. Plus, as woman we can talk and connect at the same time...bonus! I have been the worst friend ever lately. I am always on the go and so focused on just the day to day nonstop activities.
This was my day-
Wake up- check emails, fix breakfast for kids-Exercise (for me!), Drill Practice (3 hours), Birthday Party (McKay), Piano lesson (McKay), Orthodontist Appt. (Gentry), Birthday Party (Zach), Baseball Practice (Zach and Tyler), Bar be que for parents and drill team girls, Church meeting for Young Woman (9pm since I was busy until then!).... I just take my CRAZY busy schedule day by day...and I love it!
I started a load a laundry and forgot about it today- anyone ever do this? I know it may seem crazy busy but I LOVE it and I would not have it any other way...
Here is a photo of Ty's team- This is the Murray 10 U All-Stars. Ty is the second row- far left. It melts my heart to see him play. He just has worked really hard to make the team. He has practice every day for 2 hours and I go and watch it the entire time. Yes, I let a lot of things GO to just be there- I know time flies and I don't want to miss a thing.
I have ONE more day and I head to Northern California. I am getting so many emails from girls in the classes. I LOVE it! I am really looking forward to meeting you and seeing many of you AGAIN.
