Today is always a BUSY day for me. I was lucky enough to get to go to one of my favorite places today. It is a small little shopping village called GARDNER VILLAGE. I am friends with a few of the shop owners and I simply adore them. I went to my friends Wendy's boutique shop- POSH FRIPPERY. She has the cutest GIRLY girl things. Bonus- they are CHEAP- well, inexpensive!!! I love her funky gem rings- which she sells for about $5.00. I got the cutest black and white carry on luggage bag today from her store. She wasn't even selling the bag, and when I saw it- I asked her if I could buy it. She not only sold it to me, but gave it to me at cost. Wow...friends- they are amazing!!! I also have to let you know if you live in UTAH, the store HEEL & Toes at Gardner Village who is owned by my friends Alan and Susan Smith- are going out of business. Their last day is this Saturday- and they have EVERYTHING 70% off. I got a nice pair of black heels today for a great deal. So check them out if you are local!!!
All day I have thought of my friends at CK Media. I am going to be positive and upbeat and only think that CK MEDIA will be able to turn their money problems around. I know many scrapbook manufacturers personally and rest assured there is lots of GOOD NEWS- lots of companies thriving. In harder economic times, instead of buying gifts, you will find people going back to hand crafted and homemade items. Not only is it PERSONAL and meaningful but ALL of you know how GREAT it feels to CREATE. I think my soul REJOICES in the "feel good- happy" feelings I get from creating. I am getting so many emails about my CHA releases. We have been shipping NON-STOP since the trade show. The 6x12 page protectors should be shipping VERY SOON!!!! I think these have been a HUGE seller. I was and am estatic at the DEMAND for my 7x13 chipboard album covers. I love the long size. The page protectors just make it even easier!!! One of the things that I feel so strongly about is bringing scrapbook products to the market that are not only beautiful, inspires YOU to want to document your life, but affordable. I LOVE that my papers retail for around .70 cents for a double sided paper. My 7x13 chipboard albums retail for around $5.00.... So in harder economic times- I will do my best to help YOU be able to still be able to support this wonderful hobby and industry. Sorry- I am LONG winded!!!!!
I want to share this project by Christie Bryant-
I love how she used my 4x6 tag paper...and want to highlight her work. I love that she has NO IDEA that she is on my blog. I was sent her project photos from someone- so hopefully she will find out how darling I think her work is. Her blog is www.prettypaperblog.com
I have to TRY to get my cute boys to bed now. I love to tuck them in each night. I then go into each of their bedrooms separately and talk to them about their day. Then we pray to together. We trade off nights and I love it when it's their turn. My boys will say the cutest thing!!!
*okay, just got done with our prayers. Zach did not let me down- tonight he said..." I am thankful for the toilets in our house, that way we don't have stinky things in our house." Now that is so what I was talking about. CRAZY boys!!!!
