CHA SNEAK PEAK day 2

Okay, finally- I can tell you about my next collection. I felt inspired to do a line that I felt was lacking in the scrapbook world. The collection is named-

DOCUMENTED

* this line was designed in the memory of my mother. I lost my mother in 2002 unexpectedly of a brain aneurysm. It was this life changing event that introduced me to the world of scrapbooking.  I had the instant desire to scrapbook the memories of my mom. I soon realized I had little information of so many aspects of my mom's life. Who were the people in her life? Her deepest wishes, her values? So mom...I love you and this line is for YOU! I hope as you each DOCUMENT your own life- that you remember to "TELL YOUR STORY." This book is the book that I will be teaching at CKU Nashville and CKU Provo in 2009. It is IMPORTANT- if you don't tell your story- Who will????
This is one of the 6x12 tags on the cover of my 7x13 black file folder book. It is a lightly distressed line- I have Quotes, and TAGS to help you journal YOUR or someone that you love- help them document their life. The tag paper has lotsof 3x4, 4x6 and 6x12 tags to help with the journaling...Tags like-A to Z of me, LIFE STORY (first job, hobbies, friendships that meant the most, personal struggles, Things I value most, FAVORITE- music, color, hobbies, foods, season, sports, movies...
in a nutshell I hope that I have designed a line that makes it easy for YOU to create a BOOK and layouts that is all about YOU. I strived to do a line that was classic and yet meaningful.
There are 12x12 papers too. So look at this clock one- I had my son Ty journal on one of the 4x6 tags- all about his favorites. He did it in his own handwriting and it is adorable. I love it- in fact at CHA---each of my kids helped DOCUMENT their own life. They did books and journaling of their life in THEIR own words and writing. I designed both lines FAMILY matters and DOCUMENTED to be able to mix and match in all the colors. They easily blend and hopefully will make some great projects with ease. I am a little emotional about ALL my CHA releases because they are about what is MOST important to me. You all know- especially anyone who has had a class with me...it's all about SHARING you STORY in your own way!!! I hope that I have created some lines that motivate you to do this for you and your family.
