I am OVERWHELMED with thankfulness for what I get to do. It is something that I love and that I am just simply PASSIONATE about. This line- well, I wanted to do a line that EVERYONE can relate to...it's what is most important to us. My collection is called....
FAMILY matters
Simply put- I wanted to do a line that focused and highlighted our families, our memories- I have a very cool new things debuting----- 6x12 paper. Actually it is a 12x12 paper in which I have two tags that are 6x12- a totally NEW concept. So some of the papers in this line are the large 6x12 tags.
Then I KNEW I needed to design new CHIPBOARD book covers this year that supported my NEW sizes. So debuting will be 7x13 chipboard File Folder and Scalloped books- these same books come in 5x7 as well. ****so today here is some visuals of what it looks like-
*family gratitude on the cover is a 6x12 tag cut from the 12x12 paper. Yes, the quote on the left side of this book is also a tag- as is the bracket that says FAMILY TIME.
***Do you want to know a secret???? This is ONE of my make n takes at CHA. Come early- you will get my NEW chipboard 7x13 book with the pages (6x12) and the pre-punched page protectors to go inside the book. ***YES, I have page protectors to fit my books. Note- come early to the booth if you want to make a 7x13 book because I have a feeling Ty and Stephanie will be extremely busy helping with these make n takes.
Another project using the papers and the line does have SIX 8x8 papers. I love them...all those words that you see- all come from ONE sheet of 8x8 FAMILY matters paper. This is a little flip up FAMILY book.
You can see a few more of the papers too. I love this TAN with swirls and white dots....
This is a 12x12 FAMILY mural that I did with the FAMILY matters collection. There are FIVE of my new stamps on this page- 1.fleur de lis 2. FAMILY established 3. Count your blessings 4. GRATITUDE journal 5. Clocks (stamped on dots). All the little snippets of the papers are all NEW papers. I will be teaching this as a class this year too. *I'm so thrilled for this line. Can you tell?
Okay now, I had to show this page. First, I loved my DAMASK line and it is STILL selling like crazy. So I did one and changed up the colors to cream and distressed DAMASK and that is my 8x8 word- FAMILY matters paper. The FAMILY along the right side is cut out from one of my new ALPHABET papers. (hey, with the economy being as it is- I wanted to produce a very cost effective to journal. On one sheet of my alphabet papers- you can get about 200 letters)...more with these alphabet here- here is
a layout with showing the alphabet cut out in a row versus individually. The stamps on this layout are 1. fleur de lis 2. REMEMBER THIS w/ stars (circle) 3. Exhibit A 4. Family established. You can see on the right side of the page the FAMILY matters quote paper- that I did on brown ledger paper with red accented quotes.
So I could show sooo many more- but I wanted to give you a feel for this line. I'm all about documented my FAMILY and am so thrilled to debut this line. My family is my life and I felt "inspired" to do this line. A line that is beautiful and meaningful at the same time. Well, it is beautiful to me. You will be seeing LOTS more of this line.
****update The RED BEE class this Saturday is SOLD OUT...but this morning, I was able to kit THREE more kits. I notified the store, and I know there is a waiting list, so please call the store. I can fit three more spots only. Sorry this is really all the kits that I have. I think you girls taking the class will be VERY HAPPY- if you get my hint. I have a little surprise....
