I rarely have these times- thankfully- but this weekend I had to do a upcoming class project when I had ZERO creativity. Ha! I think with all the house commotion and Thanksgiving, my creative side was shut down. Ha! So I decided to watch Christmas movies on Saturday on the Hallmark Channel. Oh how I am such a sap!!! I cried at the end of every one of them. TRUE! I am the biggest cry baby...and way too tender hearted.
Then I was just not feeling well today- so I slept for most of the day. I took a late shower and then decided to just sit down with my stuff and see if the creativity came back. I'm happy to say- it found me again! I just didn't force myself- took some time off this weekend to just shut down a bit and NOW----THANKFULLY I am done with my project for the ULTIMATE SCRAPBOOK CRUISE.
I want to announce the two 9x9 Christmas Kit winners- Karenika Nov. 28 12:00pm and Euphoria Nov. 25 9:10 am. Please email me girls with your address!!!!
I wanted to show a darling project that Dedra Long designed using CRUSH. She lives in Arizona- and is so talented. I am so lucky in that she is going to be helping Jamie and I with projects and designs with my product lines. I love that she has such a beautiful sense of style and her creativity is always trendsetting.
In this layout, Dedra used the Crush Swirls transparency, the pink houndstooth (Crush Notes) and also a wonderful technique where she used my TC 5x7 die cut pages as a mask with alcohol ink.... How clever is she???? Another Crush project is... this adorable book. I will post a few images or you can see all of the pages at her blog- http://dedralong.blogspot.com LOVE how she used the CRUSH Sweetheart Tags. She also used the Bella Girl Die Cut pages and incorporated them into her book. How CLEVER!!! So I'm sure you will see lots more of my friend Dedra's work...and I'm sure you will be INSPIRED by her!!!!
Time to get my kids to bed...Happy Sunday!
