I have much more to share from the weekend. I spent today, working away at some deadlines- and well, thinking alot about how much I love doing what I do. I shared a very personal story to the class on Saturday, that I had not planned to share. It was one of those times, where I knew that I was lead to say the things I did. I am a talker- if you are ever in one of my classes- you know I am a open book. I am excited to share what I do, and so excited to see what everyone in the class is doing. I feel a true connection with each student in my class. I am inspired by their creations and their life. I get to see their photos, their life, and it blesses me. Often, it inspires new artwork and designs from me. I want to share more photos from the trip to EVER AFTER.
This is my friend Tammy Mitchell. She is such a sweet and kind friend. We met several years ago, she was in my CKU Masters class- a recipe book class, as a student. I SAW her talent. We connected, and now we are close friends. So thankful for her!!! She came and took headshots of EVERY single student. She is emailing the images to each of them. She made a darling book fo each of the students and did a fantastic job. You can find more about her by visiting her blog(on my list of faves on the sidebar!!!!)
This is the sweetest gift ever. My cute friend Gemm made this for me. I cried when she gave it to me. I was so overwhelmed with her thoughtfulness. She went to my blog and printed out photos of my sweet (they are very sweet today-smile!!!) kids and family. She even went to the old blog at Junkitz. I guess you can still go there and see my photos...no text/only photos. I have no idea why it is still up, but thankful she was able to obtain those precious photos. THANK YOU GEMM...My family loves this tree. I am so thankful to have met you.
Here is Gemm and me. I wish you all could see her artwork. She came with her husband and two children and stayed in a hotel for the weekend, so she could attend my classes. THANK YOU GEMM and family. My family loved it- and it's on display in my family room.
This is KIM...she is so darling. I am thankful that I was able to meet her. I know if I lived in CA, we would be hanging out...
I had to tell this POPULAR girl that I think she is GORGEOUS. She told me she doesn't like her photo taken. WHAT???? How can someone sooo beautiful, not want HER photo taken. Well, you should see her son and daughter. GORGEOUS family!!!!
Oh, just what I needed. I purchased the clear bling ring, the cool crown ring with gems and the BLACK heart gem necklace. I really wish I would have picked up the SALLY JEAN necklace- that i really liked. Oh well, next time. I LOVE the front counter at EA- they have some really cool finds!!! I got these at Ever After-
EVER AFTER SCRAPBOOKS- Carlsbad California You can check out their store website- it's worth the trip to shop at the store. I KNOW I was loaded with goodies- and they do offer a huge and wide variety of products.
This is a view of some of the students. I have FOUR 1st time scrapbookers in my ROLODEX class.
When I started to explain the workshop and class, well I think I scared them. However, they all DID GREAT!!!!! The time just flew....
This was the stamping, glittering and chipboardstation. We made a big ole FUN mess. I really like the Martha Stewart thin glitter. If you haven't tried it...it's GLAMOUROUS...

This is SUSAN (edited- sorry Susan I typed the wrong name it)... loved seeing her again. I have many more photos- and for some reason many of them turned out very blurry!!!! I wish I could share all of them...
