Here is the family on the day we arrived. Where am I???? Taking lots of photos. (Gentry, Ty, Zach, McKay and Ty) None of the other kids could make it. Gentry really did not really want to go. I kept telling her she would have such a good time- (tell this to a 15 yr. old a zillion times!!!) and guess what??? She had a blast!!!!
Zach was amazing! He pitched a NO HITTER- 3 innings- 10 batters...he did walk won. The game ended because we had 15 runs to 0. They gave Zach the game ball. It shocks the other teams when we can pitch so fast at the age of 9.
We went to the big SLIDE two times while in CO. It's the ALPINE slide. You take the ski lift to the top of the mountain and then slide down really fast. The kids LOVED this. Here is ty....so much fun. Yes, I actually did it once. Not crazy about heights, but it was FUN!!!!
Zach pitching!!!! I loved putting my camera on sports mode and taking rapid pictures...(Canon) Then after many games...and lots of sun, and fun...The team had a battle with the team- SHOCKERS from Oklahoma. They played hard, but the Shockers won it and Storms placed 2nd. We went to a cool award ceremony at the top of the mountain.
So thankful for this time away. I did not do anything scrapbook related at all. I played cards and games with the kids each day when we arrived back at our condo. We went minature golfing, played in the river, went swimming, etc. in addition to lots of baseball events and games. So thankful for the memories...I took about 450 photos too...lots of memories captured.
