I feel like I accomplished so much. It's 2:55 am and I just can't get to sleep. I am such a night person. I feel I am most productive at night. I have really never been a morning person. So this weekend...we spent alot of time with the family.
We grill out dinner every night in the summer. It's so easy and I love grillled chicken. We had lights (1000watt) installed above our batting cage...so that Zach can practice at night...he loves to do this- bat, bat and more batting practice. He loves the Yankees and the Giants. Not sure why- but he does!!!
So we had the 2nd All-Star game on Sat...and they won. Zach pitched two innings. He had 7 batters total. He struck out ??? hmmm...several- can't remember and hit one... So I was thankful he did so well. No runs were scored. Talk about pressure to perform. I LOVE baseball. I really have learned alot and truly enjoy going to the games. It's a big part of our life at this time.
I finished painting the room pink....and I love it! I spent last night shopping for new clothes at the mall with the girls. I have six bags of clothes that will be donated tomorrow. Plus, I have more to go through tomorrow. It felt so good to bag up the clothes that no longer fit me. Plus, I'm decluttering the closet by getting rid of clothes that i can't fit into or that I never wore(big time!!!!) Gentry found the cutest jacket at Nordstroms by the brand of SCRAPBOOK. Have you seen this line??? I am in LOVE with the cool colors and design. Check it out! I am pretty pumped to be able to shop with the girls and find sizes that fit me.... in some of my fave stores.
The girls came home from camp and loved it. They had fun- sniper hunting...and being with our wonderful church young woman leaders. The do arts and crafts and hike and enjoy lots of yummy food. This morning Taylor and Gentry will leave once again for 6 days to head down to BYU for EFY. It's a special camp for older teenagers in our church- Especially for Youth. It is filled with teenage fun- dances, devotionals, classes on topics that they can relate too. They are so excited to go...and I'm so grateful that have such a positive place to attend for camp.
The boys and McKay and I will spend tomorrow swimming and enjoying the sunshine...I do have weigh in and many other deadlines, but FUN with the KIDS is my #1 priority tomorrow. I'm taking them to a new water park/center. K- it's later now...3:10 am and I better get to bed. Teresa
